"Oh Look! It's Wine o'clock"

It's time to post about where I'll be most of this summer. If you live on the East coast and call yourself a wino you should head over to Virginia.
We decided to take a trip to Potomac Point Vineyard and Winery. It was only 25 minutes away from Fredericksburg and we heard great reviews about it.

The vineyards were beautiful. The great part about Potomac Point is that they let you bring your own food and have a picnic in the vineyards. We decided not to have a picnic on this trip because we wanted to try their delicious food!

"MMMMMMm.... Ice Cream"

Yes the ice cream was amazing along with their choices of food they have on the menu! The best part is sitting outside, you almost feel like your in Tuscany while you sip your wine and enjoy the sun.

As we were savoring our last glass of white wine we knew that this was the beginning of a wonderful Summer full of wineries and trips to the beach!
Before I end this post I did want to share where you can find all these beautiful Wineries and Vineyards in VA!
The Winery Trails are great for a girls weekend or even a romantic getaway.

  1. I've never been to a Vineyard (we don't get too much sun in England and I haven't made it over to one in France yet), this looks fantastic though. It looks like they had some pretty good food too.

    1. Wineries and Vineyards are always fun to visit!! In the U.S their mostly popular in California. I would love to go to a vineyard in France or Italy!! Im sure you would love to travel to a vineyard and have wonderful wine. :)

  4. Came across your blog and was immediately drawn in because I think we might have twin lives just in different orders ;) I am from Stafford, VA so drinking wine at Potomac Point was practically a weekly occurrence! (Have you tried the pulled pork panini there? It's fabulous!) Now we live in Pensacola, FL where my husband is in flight school! Such a small world!

    1. That is too funny! I think we do have twin lives! I hope your enjoying Pensacola and all the beautiful beaches! I think that's what I miss most about Florida is the unforgettable beaches. I do enjoy Virginias winery and vineyards though!
