A Trip to Baltimore's Inner Harbor

12:23 PMNichole DuPont

I wanted to share my trip I took just last year to the inner harbor of Baltimore with you. It was just a two hour drive and we've been wanting to see the famous Baltimore National Aquarium for awhile. There is tons to do around the inner harbor such as touring the museums, shopping and fun restaurants to enjoy but first stop was the aquarium.

The aquarium was enormous and it took us around two to three hours to walk around and see everything. It was also packed full of tourists from different states and countries.

The jellyfish room was my favorite part! It was so peaceful looking at them move around in the tank.

After seeing all the amazing and beautiful jellyfish we decided to head out and walk around the inner harbor to see what else there was to do. Right outside the aquarium we found these historic ships. You can actually go inside and take a tour.

After walking by the ships we ended up going up to the "Top of the World Observation Level", which is the world's tallest pentagonal building. You can see all of the Inner Harbor and more from the top. Along with reading about historic moments, famous people and other things that are all along the walls.

We were ready to move on from the views and walk around more which led us to these amazing paddle boats!! Who wants to ride the purple dragon with me?!?!?! Sadly they weren't open at the time :(

After walking around for an hour we started to get hungry. There are tons of places to eat around the inner harbor but we choose the Hard Rock Cafe. We always enjoy their giant plate of nachos and fun adult drinks! No pictures of our delicious food which ends our tour of the inner harbor, hope you enjoyed it and get a chance to visit one day!
Have a good weekend!

  1. Baltimore is about an hour from me. I have yet to visit the aquarium. Charming city. I personally enjoy the view from the Federal Hill day or night.

    1. Thank you Naomi! You'll have to see the aquarium one day. Its a huge place, and will take you at least two hours to go through. I hope to go back to the harbor one day to explore a little more. The candy shop looked very appealing. :)
