Catch-up Hiking

Weekend Update

8:29 AMNichole DuPont

This will be my first weekend catch-up, I thought it would be fun to share with all you lovely people what kind of things I got into these couple of days.  If you follow me on Instagram you would of seen all the fun I had! If you don't follow me on Instagram you can find me here, we can be great Insta-Friends!
I decided since it was a gorgeous day in Virginia we would visit the Potomac Point Winery and Vineyard. I don't like to waist a beautiful sunny day staying indoors, so I put my summer dress and new panama hat on and headed out to taste some wine. All pictures were taken with my iPhone, so not the best quality.

It was an amazing day to go wine tasting and having lunch with a perfect view. This is not my first time posting about Potomac Point Winery, I have another post if you'd like to see more, here.

If your in love with this panama hat as much as I am you can find it at Charlotte Russe (yes, I shop there once in awhile)! I found the dress at Ross. I always look for a good bargain!!

We decided to go with the Chardonnay for lunch. It was light and perfect for the hot day.

Of course I had to run around the vineyards like I was a little kid frolicking on a summer day. We ended up purchasing another wine bottle and headed home. It was a wonderful afternoon on a beautiful Friday. The next day we decided to go on a hike with the pups in the Prince William National Forest.

Im a trail mix lover, every time we go camping or on a hike we have to bring trail mix. I try not to buy the ones with chocolate but sometimes my taste buds win.

It ended up being a great day and a perfect 5 mile hike. The pups were worn out and it was time to get them home. The weekend was perfect! I hope everyone else had a great weekend and that all the moms out there are having a beautiful mothers day!

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!!

    1. Thank you Naomi! You should defiantly make time to go out to a vineyard. It's so relaxing with the nice view and all the wine! ;)
